With its white horse-like body and single spiralling horn, the unicorn is a symbol of purity, innocence and power in Celtic mythology.

Tamnavulin 39-Year-Old 1979 – is from the Vintages Collection. This Speysider was distilled all the way back in 1979 and matured in a combination of bourbon and matusalem ol
On numerous occasions, the moniker “Unicorn” has been used to describe an extraordinary bottling of Scotland’s favourite spirit. One such bottling is Tamnavulin 1979!
Tamnavulin 39-Year-Old 1979 – is from the Vintages Collection. This Speysider was distilled all the way back in 1979 and matured in a combination of bourbon and matusalem oloroso sherry casks before being bottled in 2019.
The distillery sits on the site of a carding mill that dates back to the 16th century. The mill is still standing today, and its iconic wooden water wheel can be seen on every bottle of their sweet, smooth and fruity single malt whisky.

Founded in 1824, Fettercairn is one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland.
On October 21st, you will have the opportunity to experience the nuances of four levels of maturation from the distilleries core range.

NOW STARTING OUR SIXTH YEAR!
As the founder of the Academy of Single Malt Whisky Explorers I take great pride in delivering a value packed tasting experience in order to make your whisky journey absolutely epic.
Very few whisky club have coordinated more whisky tasting events annually, providing an average of five drams plus a special welcome cocktail for you, to explore.
This club has introduced you to Distillery Owners, Master blenders, Whisky Ambassadors, Spirits Specialists and a Whisky Writer.
In just five short years we have discovered over 190 brands of whisky from 49 distilleries and four Independent bottlers across Scotland, Ireland, Canada and America.
We have collectively supported local entrepreneurs and made a special effort to contribute to our community. Most recently, reaching a milestone of $25,237 in event proceeds and donations to the Barrie Food Bank.
